MineSeis - A MATLAB GUI Program


MineSeis was developed to provide modelers with a convenient and interactive tool to model multi-shot mining blasts. The program also can be used to study the effects of source parameters on the source time functions such as the depth effect, yield scaling, etc. Future developments will include more analysis tools such as sonogram calibration.


Program improvement suggestions and comments by Karl Koch, Michael Hedlin, Brian Stump, and George Randall are appreciated. It was Brian Stump's original idea to write a program to analyze mining blast signals. George Randall is credited for reminding the author of the frequency-domain superposition method.
