Last month, the Board of Governors of Los Alamos National Security, LLC (the company that manages LANL for the U.S. Department of Energy/National Nuclear Security Administration) unanimously approved recommendations to continue its $3 million a year contribution to support its Community Commitment Plan (CCP). “Season of Giving” Launches
This year, the Laboratory introduces its “Season of Giving,” which will run through the end of the year. October will see the start of the Lab’s annual employee-giving campaign, November will feature a food drive, and December will highlight a holiday gift collection. Read more
Assets in Action “A Night in Italy” Fundraiser on October 20
Building “Healthy Communities, Healthy Youth” is the goal of Los Alamos’ Assets in Action program. You can further its efforts by attending the fundraiser “A Night in Italy” scheduled for Saturday, October 20. Read more
Donate Used Career Clothes to Help Others through October 15
Accelerate (a nonprofit organization that provides technical training and job placement) is currently accepting donations of gently used business clothing to help men and women transition into the workforce. Read more
