This year, the Laboratory introduces its “Season of Giving,” which will run through the end of the year. October will see the start of the Lab’s annual employee-giving campaign, November will feature a food drive, and December will highlight a holiday gift collection. Read more

Accelerate (a nonprofit organization that provides technical training and job placement) is currently accepting donations of gently used business clothing to help men and women transition into the workforce. Read more

Learn About Lab Research at this Year’s LDRD Day on October 23

The public will have an opportunity to learn about some of the Lab’s cutting-edge research and chat with its experts at this year’s LDRD (short for Laboratory Directed Research and Development) Day. It’s scheduled for Tuesday, October 23, from 9:20 a.m. to 12:10 p.m. at the Buffalo Thunder Resort in Santa Fe. Read more

Lab Makes Understanding the Complexity of Wind Power “A Breeze”

Loren Toole, a principal investigator with the Lab, has been working with a group of ranchers and other landowners in eastern New Mexico to help them evaluate their renewable energy resources and prepare them for successful negotiations with wind-energy developers. Read more
