The Venture Capital in the Rockies (VCIR) Conference is held twice per year and is the Rocky Mountain region’s oldest and best-attended venture capital (company-startup investors) conference. Read more

New Mexico Receives $10.6 Million Broadband Grant

On August 16, the U.S. Commerce Department’s National Telecommunications and Information Administration announced a $10.6 million American Recovery and Reinvestment Act grant to the Northern Central New Mexico Economic Development District to build high-speed Internet infrastructure across Rio Arriba, Los Alamos, and northern Santa Fe counties, and the Ohkay Owingeh, Santa Clara, San Ildefenso, Pojoaque, and Tesuque pueblos. The New Mexico Small Business Assistance Program provided technical assistance training administered by Northern New Mexico College to 15 individuals from regional small businesses. Read more
