Instrumentation and Controls

AOT's Instrumentation and Controls (AOT-IC) Group provides automated control and monitoring support for accelerator devices at the Los Alamos Neutron Science Center.

The group works closely with the Accelerator Technology Division, LANSCE Division, and other LANL organizations on a variety of IC activities, including computer-aided design; design, development, installation, and maintenance of beam diagnostic instruments; design and development of devices for automated control and monitoring of accelerator components and distribution of timing signals; and design, development, installation, and maintenance of related software.
