Isotopes used for medical and industrial applications

We prepare, separate, and distribute unique isotopes used for medical, industrial, and research applications. (Nuclear chemistry, target development, process chemistry, separations chemistry, molecular chemistry of radioisotopes).

Isotope Production Facility (IPF)Remote manipulators are used to safely handle radioactive isotopes, which are purified for research and medicine.

Silicon-32

Si-32 returns.
IIAC has recently begun producing Silicon-32 for the first time since 1998. It is a soft beta emitter used to determine the age of glaciers, to investigate oceanic and atmospheric circulation, and to probe ground water infiltration rates.
