Welcome to the new Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) Alumni Publication. This bi-monthly communication is designed for us to remain in contact with you, while delivering on your requests for current science and technology advances, potential funding and collaboration opportunities and career openings. Your feedback is encouraged.

Our most active alumni come out of our postdoctoral (post-doc) program. As you performed and published research on a wide range of challenges while interacting and mentoring with some of the most impressive scientific minds in the world, you also contributed back to the vitality of our Laboratory. You introduced current university ideas and techniques, enhanced the creativity of co-workers and provided a cutting edge spark for our workforce. Though many of you have used your LANL experience to move on to other prestigious institutions and companies, you will remain a part of our storied history.

You will always be a Los Alamos alumnus, and we sincerely hope you will serve as an ambassador, stay in touch, and continue the rich and mutually beneficial relationships that began when you were part of our national security mission. I invite you to share this publication with those privileged to have spent time at our Laboratory, or with those that just might find this information as exciting as we do.

Charlie McMillan, Director of Los Alamos National Laboratory
