Information meeting draws hundreds to Española
Web page has information on construction projects along Pajarito Road

June 17, 2010—Hundreds turned out to an informational meeting Wednesday in Española. Sponsored by the Laboratory, the meeting was held to give the public information about planned construction projects on Pajarito Road.
A number of construction projects are beginning and continuing for several years on Pajarito Road, including legacy cleanup initiatives, waste treatment facilities, enhanced security infrastructure for the Lab's plutonium facility, and the building of a replacement laboratory for chemistry and metallurgy sciences.
