LANS invests in SFCC's Sustainable Technologies Center
November 30, 2010—Los Alamos National Security, LLC invested $100,000 in Santa Fe Community College's Sustainable Technologies Center. The funds will be used to support the center's operating costs, and salaries of instructors in the program.
This is the second year LANS has made a $100,000 investment in the Sustainable Technologies Center, a 45,000-square-foot facility devoted to workforce training and education in green construction, plumbing, HVAC, electrical trades, and renewable energy fields, including biofuels, smart grid, solar and small wind technology.
