Community leaders briefed at quarterly breakfast meeting
October 25 meeting features CMRR update
November 3, 2011—On October 25 the Community Programs Office hosted another in a series of "Community Leaders Breakfasts" that happen four times a year going back to 2007. The breakfasts include briefings from senior LANL and NNSA officials, and when the meetings are held at LANL, tours of various Lab facilities, and scientific programs are available.
A short video story about the latest Community Leaders Breakfast is now on the LANL YouTube Channel. The video includes an update on the Chemistry and Metallurgy Research Replacement project, the economic impact of the Laboratory on Northern New Mexico, and a tour of the world-record-setting National High Magnetic Field Laboratory, a National Science Foundation funded project of LANL, the University of Florida, and Florida State University.
