NNSA holds scoping sessions for CMRR environmental study
Comment period remains open through November 1

October 21, 2010—Dozens of citizens turned out this week for NNSA's public meetings to gather input on what should be studied in a new supplemental environmental impact statement for the CMRR project.
The process, known as scoping, took place Tuesday in White Rock and Wednesday in Pojoaque.
Visitors could learn about the project and talk to subject matter experts in an open-house format, then leave recorded or written comments.
The comments will be gathered and considered as NNSA prepares a draft of the new study.
Written comments may be submitted
LANL employees have the right to participate, but comments should be submitted as private citizens rather than on behalf of the Lab.
