Museum hosts 12th annual High-Tech HalloweenOctober 23, 2006
"The Science of Sound” is this year’s theme
Follow your ears to the Laboratory’s Bradbury Science Museum for the 12th High Tech Halloween on October 27. The theme of this year’s event is “The Science of Sound.” High-Tech Halloween is from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and is free and open to the public. “You don't need a costume to gain admission into this annual event at the Bradbury Science Museum but it will add to the highly charged atmosphere of fun science,” said Liz Martineau, museum educator. High-Tech Halloween is held in conjunction with Los Alamos' Main Street Halloween activities organized by many downtown merchants. Activities are geared for the elementary school age student, but almost any age will see that fun and learning come easily on this evening, said Martineau. Registration is not needed, but parents or responsible adults are asked to accompany their children. The Bradbury Science Museum is located at 15th Street and Central Avenue in downtown Los Alamos. Museum hours apart from special events are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday and 1 to 5 p.m., Sunday and Monday. The Bradbury Science Museum is part of the Laboratory’s Community Programs Office (CPO). For more information, contact the Bradbury Science Museum at 7-3157. Other HeadlinesSpace Research
