Office of Science Town Hall meeting is today

The Office of Science Program Office is hosting a Town Hall meeting from 3 to 5 this afternoon to strengthen the research network at the Laboratory and to position Los Alamos to secure long-term funding for new ideas within the Chemical Sciences Division, Department of Energy Office of Basic Energy Sciences (OBES).

The meeting is in the Chemistry (C) Division Auditorium at Technical Area 46 (Building 535, Room 103).

The meeting will include descriptions of OBES' Chemical Sciences Division sub-programs and new challenges on the horizon. Prospective principal investigators who feel their efforts could fit into program goals are encouraged to attend and bring no more than two overheads describing their work. OBES' Chemical Sciences Division sub-programs supports a major portion of the nation's fundamental research in the chemical sciences.
