By Public Affairs Office

June 18, 2004

The Laboratory’s Veterans Committee annually sponsors a picnic for SARA students working at Los Alamos. The Service Academy Research Associates program is coordinated by the Laboratory’s Department of Defense Programs Office. The picnic serves to provide the students with a venue to meet and relax from the rigors of work and academy life. At the picnic, students enjoyed hamburgers and a talk by retired United States Army Colonel Jim Aldrich. Photo by Ed Kellum, Public Affairs
