Actinide Research Quarterly is onlineApril 21, 2009
The latest issue of Actinide Research Quarterly is now online. The double issue highlights the research discussed at the Plutonium Futures—The Science Conference, which was held in Dijon, France last summer.
Some of the topics discussed in this issue of ARQ include the challenges posed by high-plutonium-content fuels, plutonium alloys under pressure, the role of gallium during the oxidation of delta-stabilized plutonium, and expanding the plutonium lattice in a quest for magnetism. Articles were contributed by researchers from the Indira Gandhi Center for Atomic Research, India; the Atomic Energy Commission (CEA), Valduc, France; the Institute for Transuranium Elements, Karlsruhe, Germany; as well as Los Alamos, Lawrence Livermore, and Argonne national laboratories. Actinide Research Quarterly is published by the Seaborg Institute for Transactinium Science in the Stockpile Manufacturing and Support Directorate (ADSMS). Other HeadlinesSpace Research
