Chu views Lab researchApril 13, 2009
Mike Ebinger of Earth System Observations and Beth Wingate of Computational Physics and Methods present their research entitled "Energy-Climate Impacts: A Community-Based Approach for Solving the GHG-Emissions Problem" to Department of Energy Secretary Steven Chu last Thursday at the Laboratory.
New Mexico Senator Tom Udall, Laboratory Director Michael Anastasio, and other dignitaries accompanied Chu during the tour of the Nicholas Metropolis Center for Modeling and Simulation. Chu also watched computer simulations of Laboratory research applications growing out of the Lab's supercomputing capabilities, and met with some Laboratory scientists.
