Video testimonials to Domenici planned

July 31, 2008

Laboratory employees are encouraged to drop by the Los Alamos Neutron Science Center (TA-53, main entrance to Building 1) today and record a video tribute to retiring New Mexico Senator Pete Domenici.

From 8 to 10 this morning, employees can record a personal message of well wishes and thanks to Domenici for his many years of supporting the Laboratory. The messages may be incorporated into a video tribute that will be played during an all-employee meeting in which Domenici will speak to employees. The meeting is scheduled for August 11 in the National Security Sciences Building.

Not all of the taped employee messages will be played at the all-employee meeting, but they will be included in a DVD that is being produced for Domenici.

The long time senator is retiring when his current term ends in January.
