New issue of Currents now available

July 7, 2008

The July issue of Currents is available and should be distributed to all employees early this week.

This latest issue of the Laboratory's employee publication features a cover article highlighting some of the people behind Roadrunner, the Laboratory's supercomputer, which recently exceeded a sustained speed of 1 petaflop.

Also featured are articles on Belinda Padilla of the Technology Transfer (TT) Division and her involvement with the Lab's entrepreneurial programs, some of the Lab employees who have won R&D 100 awards and what the award means to them, and how the Laboratory is standardizing processes for managing active documents.

To read these and other articles, pick up the July Currents. It's as close as your employee mailbox. And when you're finished with Currents, drop it in a green recycling bin.
