Lab was co-host
Charlotte Rowe, left, of Geophysics talks with John Cassidy, center, of the Geological Survey of Canada Pacific Geoscience Centre and Jackie Caplan Auerbach of Western Washington University during the Seismological Society of America 2008 annual meeting held last week at the Hilton and El Dorado hotels in Santa Fe. Rowe was at the meeting to present her team's research studying seismic activity on the uppermost mantle beneath the Tibetan Plateau and her work on gradient and anisotropic variations in the upper mantle of Eurasia. The Laboratory was this year's host along with New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology, Sandia National Laboratories, and the University of Texas at El Paso.
