Special holiday meal served Thursday in ARAMARK cafeterias

December 10, 2007

ARAMARK Corp. is serving a traditional New Mexican holiday meal Thursday in the Otowi Building cafeteria and cafeterias at Technical Area 55 and the Los Alamos Neutron Science Center (LANSCE) at TA-53.

For $6.99 plus tax, Laboratory workers can choose from green chile chicken enchiladas or pork chops stuffed with apple chutney stuffing; two side dishes from a choice of Spanish rice, calabacitas, red chile posole, or au gratin potatoes; a dinner roll or tortilla; and any size fountain drink. Desserts are sold separately.

The self-service salad bar and the grill remain open, said Vance Boone, general manager for Los Alamos' ARAMARK operations. ARAMARK is the Laboratory's food service provider.

The cafeterias are open for lunch from 11 a.m. to 1:45 p.m.

ARAMARK's mobile trucks also will serve a limited holiday meal of enchiladas, posole, and calabacitas for $6. The price includes tax.
