United Way campaign continues through November 2

October 22, 2007

The Laboratory's 2008 United Way giving campaign now runs through November 2.

"There are a Million Reasons to Give" is this year's theme. Through last Thursday, Laboratory employees have pledged or donated more than $264,500 to the United Way through the Lab's United Way giving campaign.

Los Alamos National Security, LLC plans to match employee contributions up to $1 million. Last year, Laboratory employees donated $725,000 to the Northern New Mexico United Way and the United Way of Santa Fe County. The amount was matched dollar-for-dollar by LANS.

Also, don't forget to participate in the Threat Reduction Directorate's Multimedia Beatles trivia contest. See the October 17 Daily NewsBulletin for more information.
