Tracking 'killer electrons' ... and more

September 7, 2007

The latest issue of DOE Pulse is available online. Pulse is an online newsletter about accomplishments at the Department of Energy's national laboratories.

In addition to the highlights, DOE Pulse features two longer articles - one about a researcher and one about a multilab collaborative effort.

Some of the headlines in this issue are "Tracking 'killer electrons'" from Los Alamos, "Nanoscale suncatcher" from Idaho National Laboratory, "Nanowiring living cells" from Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, and "Spare-part science" from Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory.

There also is a profile on Victor Lin of Ames National Laboratory and a feature on the Excited Baryon Analysis Center at the Thomas Jefferson Lab National Accelerator Facility.
