Laboratory technologies capture R&D 100 awards

Los Alamos researchers won two of R&D Magazine’s prestigious 2007 R&D 100 Awards. The award-winning Laboratory projects this year include the Camera on a Chip and the Portable Acoustic Cytometer.


Local company gets contract to clean up former material disposal area
Accelerated Remediation Company, a local small business with offices in Los Alamos, received a contract from the Laboratory to begin remediation of an historic waste site known as Material Disposal Area B.

Steam outage continues at TA-3
The steam distribution system at Technical Area 3 will continue to be shut down through the end of July for repairs and maintenance.
