Lab launches new Security in Action Web site

A new Web site to help employees more readily find essential security information and guidance was launched Thursday at the Laboratory. The Security in Action Web site is the idea of the Security Action Team that Director Mike Anastasio recently formed to help clarify security practices and procedures and to better communicate with employees on security issues.

Proposals requested for Generator Set-Aside Fee program
The Pollution Prevention Program (ENV-RRO-PP) Office is seeking proposals for projects that reduce waste or pollution and conserve natural resources (energy) at the Laboratory.
Lab parking placards good until next year
Laboratory divisions that use temporary government parking placards with an expiration date of October 31, 2006 will be able to continue using their current passes until the end of the year.
NNSA releases Notice of Intent for Complex 2030 Environmental Impact Statement
An environmental impact statement for the transformation and modernization of the Cold War-era nuclear weapons complex is being prepared by the Department of Energy National Nuclear Security Administration.
Employees should update home address information
Los Alamos National Security Laboratory employees should update their home address information by today and in advance of open enrollment, which starts next week.
