Pirates are on the Hill today

Those pirates you see running around downtown Los Alamos around noon on Monday aren't planning a mutiny or a raid on anyone's treasure. But they are helping the Laboratory kick off its 2007 United Way giving campaign.


New Issue Management System debuts October 1
A new, user-friendly issue management system called LANL Issues Management Tracking System (LIMTS) is scheduled to begin operating at the Laboratory October 1. This system replaces I-Track, which will continue to be operational into November.

Some electronic devices, including many on-board satellites, function only when cooled to far below room temperature. This has created a need for compact, reliable refrigeration that can be used in space and on Earth.
