Smithsonian is new home for BEAR

The Smithsonian Institution is the new home for a piece of Laboratory developed technology that has been in storage.


Oppenheimer Memorial lecture focuses on health protection challenges
Dr. Julie Gerberding, director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, will talk on the “21st Century Health Protection Challenges: Preparing for Pandemics,” at 7:30 p.m., Monday (August 7), in Duane Smith Auditorium at Los Alamos High School as this summer’s J. Oppenheimer Memorial lecture.
