Los Alamos Employees' Scholarship Fund drive campaign kicks off today

The Los Alamos Employees' Scholarship Fund, which encourages Laboratory employees, retirees and subcontract personnel to donate to a fund that awards college scholarships to Northern New Mexico area students, begins today.


Additional open-mic session scheduled
An additional “open-microphone” question-and-answer session regarding University of California/Laboratory and Los Alamos National Security, LLC benefits plans is Tuesday. Personnel from UC/LANL and LANS will be available at the sessions to answer employee questions.
AWARDS database tracks Lab awards
Twenty-three Laboratory technical staff members have been named Fellows of the American Physical Society in the last five years, while the Lab has received 19 R&D 100 awards during this time. Now, Lab employees and the public can learn about the many external awards staff and the Lab have received by going to a new database online.
