Modified work schedule suspended for all Lab workers

Updated at 9:35 a.m. - The Laboratory's 9/80 modified work schedule, which allows personnel to have an off day every other Friday, has been suspended until further notice. The suspension is effective on Aug. 30.


New Web page provides Lab re-start information
The program designed to coordinate and manage re-start efforts, titled the Culture and Operations Model, Plan and Surety System, has a new Web site with important information.
Ergonomics expo today at Otowi Building
The Laboratory's Institutional Ergonomics Committee is hosting an ergonomics expo from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., today in the Otowi Building siderooms.
Nanos to meet with students today
Updated at 10:35 a.m. - Laboratory Director G. Peter Nanos will discuss various issues with students from 3 to 4 this afternoon in the Physics Building Auditorium at Technical Area 3.

As the Laboratory continues in a suspension of operations status, several facilities remain closed until further notice.
Lab's Employee Assistance Program can assist workers during suspension of operations
University of California employees and students as well as subcontractors who feel stressed and are in need of any type of counseling assistance may utilize the Laboratory's Employee Assistance Program.
Bowles: students should be involved in re-start of Laboratory
Laboratory organizations should involve students in processes for resuming normal operations, the Lab's chief science officer said.
