Procurement expo draws hundreds

Before a luncheon crowd of nearly 200 regional vendors and government procurement officials, Rich Marquez, associate director for administration (ADA) reaffirmed the Lab's commitment to finding new avenues to collaborate with the local business community.


Los Alamos discloses improper PCB disposal
Laboratory officials on Wednesday disclosed improper disposal of approximately one quart of liquid, low-level radioactive polychlorinated biphenyl oil that had been solidified through absorption and then disposed of at Area G within Technical Area 54 on Sept. 10.
Main hill road closed part of today, Friday
Crews from the New Mexico Department of Transportation are making repairs to the shoulders of NM 502 from just west of the NM 4-NM 502 junction west to about the Los Alamos Airport today and Friday.

Mercury Road is closed Friday
