Special Events Calendar

All events are at the Bradbury Science Museum and are free unless noted otherwise. Pre-registration may be needed for an event as indicated. Please call the museum at 505-667-4444, ext. 0, to find out about any changes in programming. October 2004

The Bradbury Science Museum's annual community event, HighTech Halloween, will not be held this year. As part of Los Alamos National Laboratory, our primary concern is the safety and security of our visitors and staff. Because of the complexity of this event and the large number of people involved, we determined that more time was needed than we have to review all activities for safety. Please continue to check this calendar for other Museum events.

Special Annual Activities
The Bradbury Science Museum offers several special, educational science events throughout the year.

Science Circus

During this event, which normally is held in April of each year, the Museum is transformed into a three-ring circus of science activities! Los Alamos National Laboratory specialists, local students, and community science experts wow the audience with their exciting science demonstrations.

High-Tech Halloween

Each October, the Museum's High-Tech Halloween combines the wonder of science and technology with the chills and thrills of Halloween. The program varies every year, but this special evening of science and fun may offer activities that range from the fantastic sights of a laser-light show to the mysteries of cryogenics. The focus is on science demonstrations and on do-it-yourself, hands-on science projects suitable for elementary-school-age children accompanied by their parents.
