Special Request for School Visits

2009-2010 Program Details

We are dedicated to building a critical science skills in elementary classrooms!

This year we are offering a limited number of school programs based on the International Year of Astronomy. Our goal is to provide experiences that will build the science inquiry and critical thinking skills that are necessary for scientific thinking. Together let's give students the skills to Reach for the Stars!

Many of you requested longer visits, so this year you may choose to schedule one 50-minute program for each class (as we have done in the past) or two different programs for 90 minutes for each class. You may want to schedule longer classes for older students and shorter classes for younger students. We know that we will see fewer students, but we hope that the experience (especially for the upper grades) will be more in-depth and rewarding.
