This year we are offering these exciting programs that provide a window into Los Alamos National Laboratory for students.
Solids, liquids, gases, and beyond; this demonstration uses liquid nitrogen to explore the science of extreme cold.
Beeing There
Adventures in the world of entomology! We explore characteristics, behaviours and activities of amazing bees.
This entertaining program explores science concepts while students observe and attempt to explain baffling phenomena.
Students experience the urgency and issues faced by Los Alamos scientists in their world-changing race to build the first atomic weapons. There isa hands-on challenge. .
Radiation
Demonstrations and activities introduce students to radiation concepts, how we protect ourselves, and uses of nuclear energy.
Volts and Jolts
Studetns get a charge out of hands-on static electricity activities and our Van de Graaf generator!
Tour on Your Own
Visit the museum on your own to learn more about the history and science of Los Alamos National Laboratory. We can provide a scavenger hunt (also available online) if requested.
