The Electron Microscopy Laboratory (EML) is part of the Structure/Property Relations Group (MST-8) in the Materials Science and Technology Division at Los Alamos National Laboratory. The laboratory contains two scanning electron microscopes, two analytical transmission electron microscopes, a high-resolution transmission electron microscope, specimen preparation equipment, optical microscopes, a digital imaging and analysis work area and a photographic darkroom. The users of the EML include Los Alamos staff members, postdoctoral associates, graduate students, and visiting researchers. The EML is housed in the Materials Research Laboratory at Los Alamos National Laboratory.
