Posters will be displayed starting Monday evening (Poster Session Opening at 8:00 PM) and will remain displayed until Thursday 8:00 PM.  Poster presenters are responsible for posting and removing their posters.  Please have your poster up by 7:30 PM on Monday and take it down after 8:00 PM on Thursday.

Please make yourself available for discussions during the Poster session and during the coffee breaks in subsequent days.

Posters Size: 4-ft (~ 122 cm) wide x 3-ft (~ 91.5 cm) high.

Poster boards and fastening materials will be available at the posters location.

Please indicate if you need a power outlet (only 110 Volts) or a small table close to your poster.

Text Box: Oral Presentations

PC and Mac laptops will be provided together with essential A/V equipment in the main conference room and Lunch room.

Preferred format: Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2003 or later (PC) or PowerPoint 10 or later (Mac). Acrobat PDF presentations are also acceptable.

Bring your presentation on a USB or CD drive to the conference coordinator to upload it and test it 30 minutes before your session starts.

The conference venue, The Bishop’s Lodge Ranch Resort and Spa offers a number of unmatched onsite entertaining activities such as Horseback Riding and other Family and Kids Activities.  We encourage you to contact them in advance to arrange for any activity you may wish to participate in.  Group events and rates are available.

Approach:

Participants from industry and applied research sectors outline some challenges and emerging needs in their relevant areas.

Participants from the fundamental research side formulate ideas that can potentially address these challenges and fulfill the needs.

Combine thoughts and attempt to answer questions such as: What research topics are both promising and sustainable? How can we team and collaborate to address these challenges?
