About the LANL Graduate Student Program

Internships

Staff and managers at Los Alamos National Laboratory recognize that in order to maintain and cultivate a well-educated workforce, we must provide a quality learning environment for all students.

Our objective is to provide students with an opportunity to explore a variety of career fields and work with professionals in those fields while using state-of-the-art equipment and instrumentation.

Internship programs strive to provide opportunities for meaningful work experiences while incorporating education and training activities. Special internship programs are available to help students interested in research internships at Los Alamos National Laboratory.

MBA Entrepreneurial Internships at Los Alamos

Los Alamos National Laboratory offers MBA candidates a unique opportunity for hands-on experience nurturing the development of high-tech start-ups and helping to commercialize new technologies. We recruit student interns from top-ranked business schools across the country, especially schools with strong programs in entrepreneurial studies.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Provide documentation of acceptance in a graduate program,
  • Enroll in and successfully complete a minimum of 6 graduate credit hours per semester, and
  • Initially have and maintain a cumulative 3.2/4.0 GPA
