Award winners and nominees will be celebrated at an event on January 5.

If you know people who support building a strong community for youth in Los Alamos, you have until December 17 to nominate them for an Assets in Action Community Award. Nominees do not have to live in Los Alamos County.

“You can recognize good deeds via the web in just a few minutes,” said Assets in Action Coordinator Bernadette Lauritzen. “You can submit a nomination to recognize the people, groups, and businesses that are contributing to building a strong community for our youth and for all of us. There is no limit to the number of nominations people can make."

Award winners and nominees will be celebrated at an event on Saturday, January 5 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m at the Betty Ehart Senior Center in Los Alamos. If you would like to attend the ceremony, the $10 tickets must be obtained in advance by calling (505) 661-4846.
