Los Alamos National Laboratory Foundation’s 15th annual conference on education will feature Harry K. Wong and Rosemary Wong as keynote speakers on “Effective Teaching.” The husband and wife team are widely acknowledged as experts in the field of education.

The afternoon speaker will be Jeff Goldstein, director of the National Center for Earth and Space Science Education. In that role, he is responsible for overseeing the creation and delivery of national science education initiatives with a focus on Earth and space.

The October 11 conference is open to everyone. A $70 per person registration fee includes breakfast, lunch, and all conference materials.

The October 12 conference is limited to staff from school districts participating in the Northern New Mexico Inquiry Science Education Consortium (Dulce, Espanola, Mesa Vista, Penasco, Pojoaque, Santa Fe, and Springer).
