Teacher training for fuel cell challenge coming in September

The teacher training will take place on two Saturdays in September.

While the exact dates have not yet been finalized, teacher training is being arranged in preparation for the November 18 New Mexico Hydrogen Fuels Challenge. The teacher training will take place on two Saturdays in September. One session is for elementary-school teachers, and the other is for high-school teachers.

LANL; Los Alamos National Security, LLC; Albuquerque Public Schools; Sandia National Laboratories; and PNM will sponsor the event.

The new rocket fuel and motor design adds a higher degree of safety by separating the fuel from the oxidizer, both novel formulations that are, by themselves, not able to detonate.
