Rules and Instructions for Abstract Submission

      • Please do not submit an abstract until you have registered via the Eventbrite site
      • Email abstracts to Shannon Johnson: shannonj@lanl.gov
      • Indicate preference of poster or oral presentation
      • Limit text to 300 words
      • Include up to 5 keywords
      • Deadline for submission: April 11, 2014

Please assign your abstract to one of these four topics:

Sequencing: Sample to Data

  • New platforms
  • New DNA and/or RNA Focused Chemistries
  • Data Quality

Assembly, Improvement and Finishing

  • Automated and Semi-Automated Improvements
  • Genome/Metagenome/Transcriptome Assembly
  • Tools, Pipelines and Quality Metrics

Data Analysis

  • Genome/Metagenome/Transcriptome Annotation
  • Pathway and/or Organism Identification
  • Comparative Genomics/Transcriptomics
  • Tools, Pipelines and Data Management

Applications (feel free to suggest additional applications)

  • BioSurveillance
  • Forensics
  • Clinical Metagenomics/Transcriptomics
  • Non-Clinical Metagenomics/Transcriptomics

Decisions on abstract acceptance will be provided via email by April 20, 2014

Review Process

Abstracts will be peer-reviewed. All submissions will be considered eligible for oral or poster presentation.
