Reserving a room
The cost for a hotel room at La Fonda is $88 (US) per night, single or double occupancy, plus required fees and taxes. You can make your sleeping room reservation by using one of the following methods:

(1) Reserve a room on the hotel Web site. The "Group/Convention" is LANL BIW10 Workshop.

or

(2) Call La Fonda hotel directly at 1-800-523-5002, extension #1.

or

(3) Fax La Fonda's Reservations Department at 1-505-954-3599.

Deadline for hotel reservation: April 9, 2010
Please note: Reservations must be made by Friday, April 9, 2010, with a mention of "LANL BIW10 Workshop" to ensure the special group rate of $88 (US) per night. (This is the current CONUS rate for Santa Fe, plus 25% allowed under DOE regulations.) After April 9, room rates increase to $229 per night.

As with most hotels, reservation requests will be confirmed only if guaranteed with a valid credit card or deposit by check or money order. Those cancelling within 48 hours of the reserved arrival will be charged one night's room and tax by La Fonda Hotel.

Hotel room availability before, after workshop
A limited amount of hotel rooms at the special BIW10 discount rate of $88 per night will be available before the workshop (Thursday, April 29 - Saturday, May 1).

Only a few rooms will be available at this discounted rate after the workshop on May 7 & 8; otherwise, any available guest rooms will be at the non-discount rate of $229 per night.

La Fonda's check-in time is 3 p.m.; check-out time is noon.
