Service Academies Research Associates (SARA)

The Laboratory hosts cadets and midshipmen from the military academies at West Point, Annapolis and Colorado Springs for a four-to-six-week full-immersion experience at Los Alamos National Laboratory. Through the Service Academies Research Associates (SARA) program, the Laboratory offers these students hands-on learning through the Laboratory's national security science and technology.

Veteran-owned & service-disabled-veteran-owned small business

The Laboratory recognizes that small businesses are essential in stimulating the economy and has made significant strides in providing contract and subcontract opportunities to veteran-owned small businesses by communicating procurement opportunities through small business forums, training and other outreach initiatives.

Veterans career fairs

The Laboratory conducts recruiting efforts through local veterans career fairs.
