The 42nd Bioassay Conference will be held at the Cathedral Hill Hotel in San Francisco, California on 13-17 October 1996. Preparations are underway to make this conference very enjoyable for all attendees and spouses. The established conference program is in keeping with the more recent conferences, with emphasis on the workshop atmosphere. Under this format, the atmosphere shall be informal permitting a great environment for the exchange of ideas, experiences, new technologies and applications, and the latest in regulatory requirements and commitments. As a reminder, this conference welcomes the participation of the practitioner who is having difficulty with a procedure or application. Describe your work and difficulties in an informal presentation and ask the experienced audience for solutions.

The conference will include Vendor Workshops on Sunday, Technical Theme Workshops on Monday, Technical Sessions on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, as well as vendors and social events. A limited block of hotel rooms at the conference rate has been set aside for this meeting.
